When you get off the Accutane make sure to have a few spare pills left over in case you have a flare up. See if just taking a few will bring it down. That is what one person I read about did and she had success. I don't have the FD either, just annoying painful itchy bumps and scabs all the time, but for me the anti-biotics and potential side effects of Accutane are worse than my condition...so I continue to look for other treatments. I'm glad you are having success with Accutane and that your Dermatologist is prescribing it. Mine said he couldn't and now I don't want to bother with it.
