Re: GMO soy - herbicides/pesticides? The LEAST of the danger!

ALL genetically modified foods have been tested and proven to seriously & negatively impact health; many legitimate and well-respected researchers have 'lost their careers' for publishing (or attempting to publish) the truth. You apparently didn't bother to scan through the link and check out the myriad of other studies on the proven adverse effects of gm soy on liver & kidneys (or you simply don't WANT to know the dangers & risks).

Perhaps (apparently) you only subscribe to "mainstream studies" (most all funded by those that directly or indirectly profit from the sale of genetically modified substances). I don't know your reasoning...and the only reason I care to respond is so that others aren't swayed by your seemingly apparent refusal to read or consider studies that you don't meet your "conditioned criteria" of 'factual' truly is, while assuring others that known dangers don't exist.

I suggest you'd learn a vast amount from the book "Trust Us, We're Experts" determine factually how NONfactual the majority of 'studies' actually are. (specific link to the book at Amazon.com: http://tinyurl.com/a4er27
)

This no longer has anything to do with isolated substances - this is now about the very real & proven dangers of genetically modified substances...and your examples (of things like chromium picolinate) aren't even slightly related.

>>>And why are the anti-soy posters only worried about Roundup ready soy? What about the same genes in corn? Beets? And other plants we consume daily? Are they going to avoid anything with corn or Sugar now?<<<

Good heavens, are you really THAT blind? Anybody with even a slight bit of knowledge about genetically modified substances wouldn't put them in their mouth...corn, beet, soy, and any other mutated "foods". There are millions people all over the world doing their best to avoid them.
