Re: Can someone tell me what's going on?
Yes, I read the article you posted and saw that blood tests won't rule everything out.I do believe the doctor who's currently handling "my case" isn't the one who follows test results blindly. When I told him about my symptoms, including the strange ones, he didn't look at me like I was mad like most people do.
My parents are getting irritated with me when I said there might be more going on than just sleep deprivation. "Oh great, so now you're diagnosing yourself." I know coming to a M.D. with suggestions might be irritating to them, but the last one I spoke to continued to run me off with heavier pills which only gave me hallucinations. I know my stuff is nothing compared to what they're dealing with, but still seeing a wall being replaced by something else or grabbing a bottle that isn't there freaks me out. I quit the pills, but my vision is still making fun of me sometimes.
The adrenal fatigue sounds logical. I do feel like I'm running on adrenaline most of the time. I told you about being able to call that rush most people only get by say jumping out of a plane. My mom said my pupils seem dilated more lately. When I add the rush thing on top of it, my eyes are like obsidian orbs, with only a small border of the grey iris. I can see pretty well in the dark too. I know I must sound like some kid who has watched way too many Spiderman flicks, but it's true.
I can also understand that the stressful situation at home has put everyone on edge, which is a good reason why they don't have time for my little problems, but still I wish they wouldn't say I'm making things up.
Anyway, thanks for all your input. I will keep you posted. It's so nice to see people reacting normally to my case.
