Re: Can someone tell me what's going on?

The majority of your symptoms sound like you are suffering from hypothyroidism. This is actually more common in women, and is the most common cause of hair loss. This can also cause the muscle pain; due to elevated homocysteine, mental fogginess, and insomnia. Stress affects the thyroid by decreasing T4 to T3 conversion.

Other symptoms of hypothyroidism can include low energy, dry hair and skin, cold intolerance, low body temperature, slow pulse, and weight gain in some cases. Look up basal body temperature since this is more accurate way to determine hypothyroidism than lab tests, which frequently miss hypothyroidism.

The bad news is that there are so many causes of low thyroid. These include hypothalamic or pituitary dysfunction, hormone imbalances, chlorine exposure, fluoride exposure, bromine exposure, low iodine, stress, poor T4 to T3 conversion, and autoimmunity (Hashimoto's).

Stress can affect your vision by contracting the muscles around the eye leading to the globe of the eye being pulled out of shape.

Stress will also affect your adrenals adversely, which control many things in the body from hormones, thyroid, blood pressure, blood sugar, stress responses, inflammatory responses, water balance, immunity, etc.
