Re: Can someone tell me what's going on?
Thanks for the input Dr. Lam. I've been searching the internet about this, but nothing substantial seems to be written.
Thinning of the skin does seem likely. I remember looking through pictures of myself when I was younger and though I had some veins showing it wasn't as bad as it is now. I'll try to make a picture of it, but for now a description will have to do:
My skin is clear overall (except for some blemishes here and there) and the skin under under my eyes (where bags usually show) is really transparent, but not swollen. You can literally see small blue veins running. It is also very noticeable above the eyelid, between the eyebrow and eye. It looks worse on my left eye than the right.
Now my question is: what to do about it? Is there anything I can do to reverse it, apart from putting make-up on? (which I hate, btw) I know there are all those collagen-stimulating creams on the market, but I'm a little skeptical about them.
Still, thanks for explaining, making it understandable even for a girl who hasn't had biology in 5 years ;)
