Molly, gosh thank you, I couldn't ask for higher props - but seriously, this was so outrageous it wrote itself. And you nailed exactly the most disturbing part of it - how well systematized it all was. From the setup on the first call, to the constant reinforcement with each person in the office to the big scare and hard close from the Big Kahuna.
The creepy way they all repeated in exactly the same words "Will you be interested in saving your tooth?" was not only dripping with intimidation but also deliberately misleading since severing a tooth from its root is hardly saving it. How they got everyone in the office to follow the script so deftly was impressive. They probably had some kind of practice management consultant who advertises "triple your sales in the next 6 months" or some such thing.
