Hi Uch! There is no change, still works fine. It is not quite a "real cure", though, still need those evening treatments but it is no big deal. It becomes a routine.

I "ran out of oil" some days ago, after all this is a useful substance also in the kitchen... The "incident" was informative, indicating that I can manage a couple of days without the oil-salt-wash treatment, but not without signs of the old SD slowly beginning to show again. After resuming the treatment the skin responded as before in two days, now I'm already symptom-free again.

I was just browsing through some photos of me from before I started this. Unbelievable. I'm glad I have those pictures because the images of how I looked every day in the mirror has faded so extremely quickly from my memory. Cameras can be very harsh and those pictures evoke very strong feelings. I will keep looking at these images of my past self from time to time, and you can be sure it will bring me back here to follow the progress of you other SD sufferers in finding more effective remedies for you.

All I know is that it works *for me*, and that it required some fine-tuning to get just right. Also, it could be a time-limited success, like the diminishing returns of the more regular medications hydrocortisone and fungicides I've experienced. If this happens, this forum will be the first to know!
