And I like the way you think. I've always questioned everything! So I really appreciate your healthy speculation, and I share it with you. I believe that you stated it very nicely when you said that it's "more like a very deep spiritual decision."! My own thoughts about past lives has changed somewhat lately. I have always been open to this possibility, and my experiences of late suggest that there may be more to this than I had previously believed. You are correct that in many ways it is inconsequential since it is the present that really matters, and also that we can change our karma. Although, my point in bringing this issue to light is that I question if intentions from past lives might also be at play in our present life? If energy is neither created nor destroyed, what happens to us once our physical bodies die? And if we are all of the same source, and all actually one, then what are all these illusory divisions of 'good' and 'bad' when it comes to anything? Or nothing, lol?

Oh, and I am not really looking for change as I know that change is a constant and happens without doing anything! Wu wei!
