Re: Too bad
The following reflects information gathered not only from this article http://www.antiwar.com/justin/?articleid=12102 but also the references it uses to cite throughout.
It seems to me, while on a continued search for information to verify your position\distaste for Ron Paul, that it is solely based upon both extremely weak and falsified information in order to manufacture "hit" pieces on Ron Paul. Now I am not giving up on your position and will remain ever vigilant in trying to find validation of it, however this article debunks your sources rather well with this lead-in paragraph...
"The anti-Paul Popular Front is wide-ranging, extending from the neocons over at the Weekly Standard and the editorial offices of National Review to the left-wing Web sites priming their readers for Hillary's candidacy – and leading, finally, to the lair of something called the American National Socialist Workers Party (ANSWP), a neo-Nazi outfit run by a weirdo by the name of Bill White."
...going on to address each point.
The article is well written and concludes with this paragraph...
"The sheer breadth of the anti-Paul Popular Front is an astonishing sight to behold, extending all the way from avowed Nazis to radical Zionists, from Noam Chomsky to Glenn Beck. Both Fox News and the International Socialist Organization are out for Paul's scalp – and you can tell an awful lot about people by their enemies. What this tells me about Ron Paul is that he's just what many people on both sides of the political spectrum have been waiting and hoping for."

The fallout from the Meet the Press interview was rather interesting in that it exposed so called political commentators, that are very unfamiliar, and\or selectively filtering\distorting history, to emphasize their points and take advantage of a rather ignorant American population. In studying and searching for verification of your position, the media manipulation (perhaps corruption as evidenced by the previous paragraph), along with the Ron Paul hit pieces, both on the News and Net, have become so obvious to me that it is turning my stomach...
Whether you agree with Ron Paul or not on anything is besides the point, he really seems to be an honest statesman (politician) and is most likely the bravest political candidate of our lifetimes. Even if you do not like his views, a presidency or two, along with an agreeable congress or two such as his, just may be enough to bring this country back to center... I am not sure that anything can save it now, but perhaps a little time may be given back to us if we reverse some of the damage done in the last 30+ years.
My mind is still open to change, but in this day of mass population thought-control and manipulation through the media and subversive internet sites, I will do my best to ferret out the truth... if it can ever be found.
I am still in Paul's camp until I find something that will motivate my move to another...
BTW - the search this has all lead me on has motivated me to read much more than I normally would on the other candidates... there is not one that can come close to Paul at this point.
Though you may disagree with his voting record on a few bills here and there, a move away from the emotional and\or social position on the issue will show a clear constitutionally motivated vote; at least in the controversial bills I have so far studied\read..
