I disagree. It is not a question of "women's rights".
Obviously, women have babies and men do not, that's how we are created, that's how we are born, we cannot change that. It does not make it a "right" to "control" the female body by killing innocent human lives that are inconvenient, unplanned, or perceived as repugnant.
I don't care if it is a "carefully thought-out decision", if something is wrong then it is wrong. We don't excuse murder just because somebody was in a difficult situation and carefully thought about the murder before the did it. The whole business of how old the baby is, in weeks and months, is a moot point, and rather ridiculous.

Babies are an ever-present potential result of sex. Even if multiple methods are used to avoid pregnancy, there is always the small chance it will happen anyway. If someone is 100% absolutely not willing or prepared to get pregnant, there is a guaranteed way to not get pregnant, and that is abstinance. The majority of abortions taking place out there could have been avoided in the first place.

I am sorry about your rape, Raynbo. That is something terrible that I can't comprehend. I don't think two wrongs make a right, but the concept of abortion in cases of rape or dangerous health issues is, I think, something to be discussed as a separate issue from general abortion.

Men and women are not equal in every way - women do feel greater consequences from having sex than men, and that is why women must be all the more careful and thoughtful before having sex.
