Actually, that was David Grisman....sorry, Jerry was too burned out to write too many songs....it was mostly Robert Hunter. Jerry did know the guitar, but a literary genius, he was not.

Funny you use the word "liberal", (like it's a bad thing) and Jerry Garcia to make a point. In fact, making any references to the Dead.....and to someone whose photo appeared in A Long Strange Trip....tsk tsk.

Interesting. I had heard the Ann Coulter was a huge Deadhead....do you like Ann? Hmmm?
