Re: Why Is There So Much Anger?
Anger is emotion. It's expression is learned by children, just as love and hate are learned. It is not learned by direct instruction, but rather by observation. Thus, those young children who observe unrestrained anger in their parents, will themselves uncontrollably express anger as adults, whereas those who've never learnt anger expression, will find it a foreign concept. when the lawnmower doesn't start on the third pull of the string, some peole verbalize expressions of anger, while others may kick it, while still others may remain calm and solve the problem. It all depends on what they were taught by their parents.
So, it's most likely that people expressing anger on CZ, had parents who had noticeably expressed anger while they were tots.
Rare are the people who never learnt anger. Good parents will know to never teach this undesirable trait. Those who have learnt it, can un-learn it, with a little effort. Anger serves no purpose useful towards betterment of one's own self or the external situations, but rather frustrates attempts at civil behavior.
