Bad livers for sure! A high percentage of people on Curezone must be going through some type of detox and we all know what bromide detox does.

It is my personal opinion that if level headed people can speak up and say, "Hey, this type of talk is out of line; or name calling is not tolerated here," this might have an effect. Instead what happens is that we feed these people with our debating skills, until we too, lose our cool. They then win and feel "Oh, that XXX, he thinks he is so smart, but I got him this time. I told him. And I know I won because he just dropped it. He didn't know what to say to me. I got him!!"

It is like the religious wars. If people of a certain faith go too radical, it is up to people of that faith to say, "Hey, that's not appropriate. This person does not speak for me." When people on one forum get out of line, it is up to people on that forum to say loud and clear "Not here. We do not permit that." I see that being policed very well on the VWT forum. Of course, all that is moot when we go on another forum and scratch and fight with someone.

I would suggest that when we see someone obviously out of line that we push the button called Alert Bad Message and use a subject line of Troll Alert n/m or Refuse to Discuss n/m. And we repeat that over and over until something changes. The Webmaster will not interfere with the situation until it gets too uncomfortable for him not to do so. And if the general public is taking care of it (with a spiritied debate), he doesn't have to. When the moderators start complaining, or the general public start complaining, and those complaints overload him, he will do something - but only until then.

There is a saying not to fight with a pig, as you just get dirty, and besides the pig loves it.
