Re: Protocol... Please Help
Anne gave you an awesome response, so I'll only add a few things.
First, I'd really like to see those sites. The only ways I can see having problems with the Cutler protocol is:
1. Taking too large a dose from the outset, and ignoring bad symptoms.
2. Having a reaction to a chelator, which is always or almost always DMSA.
3. Taking too much of some supplements. Andy's recommendations tend to be pretty high compared to most other sources. That's not necessarily bad, as taking some things in larger amounts adds a whole new dimension to what they can do as opposed to looking at things like official RDA, but you have to be aware of it, and know to scale back doses if problems appear.
As far as depression, have you looked into things like 5-HTP or lithium orotate? I take 5-HTP and get a lot from it. A good information source on this stuff is

Get a few things to help you combat the depression, and take large amounts of supportive anti-oxidants like Vitamin C when you go off the DMSA. Look for opportunities to sweat if you can. Make sure you're taking enough B vitamins and methylators, also, magnesium is important for mental health. Anne gave you some great advice.
