Hi. I've done quite a few MCs. I'm on day 13 of one now. I'm convinced (obviously) the Master-Cleanse is beneficial. I always feel great after I do one.

Question: Why is it important that we use grade B grade and not grade A? According to all the information I can find, there seems to be no difference between these grades except for their colours. (Maple syrup is graded according to its colour). Apparently the process of making them is exactly the same and both colours contain the same nutrients. Why then is it important we use grade B?

  1. Eat organic. The pesticides in non organic food, including those marked Non-GMO will disrupt your gut. Everything starts in the gut.
  2. Take Diatomaceous Earth to replace trace minerals that have been lost in our modern farming methods. It will help make your nails and hair grow. It will help kill parasites and their eggs. Use FOOD GRADE ONLY. Start slowly with 1/2 tsp. 1x per day. Work up to 1 tsp. 3x/day. Take it for about 20-25 days per month. My skin is like liquid silk and my hair is shiny and healthy.
  3. Take pumpkin seed oil in capsules. Take 2 capsules/day. Great for hair loss. It will take at least 6 weeks to see a difference. My boyfriend has had great results for male baldness. Not a total cure for him but it should really help with hair loss.
  4. Eat pea protein for essential amino acids. Pesticides in non organic food interfere with the uptake of essential amino acids.
  5. Eat fish oil or cod liver oil. The brain needs the Omega 3's. Work up to a tbsp./day. You will know when you have enough in your system. It will start coming out of your scalp. Then you can reduce the dose to what feels comfortable. It took me 6 months to get to enough.

  Loved it. Food is funny isn't it? I just stopped eating on Monday. Seemed like the right thing to do. I was out of whack. Got three speeding tickets from the frigging mobile radar cameras that infest the streets of Cleveland and wrote letters to all kinds of people who didn't care; broke another Bluetooth, bought my fourth Bluetooth, the first of which was actually eaten by a dog; just got basically disgusted with my popcorn consumption. Bought the lemons and syrup and knew that I was in for it. The first day I struggled with not eating, being mad, eyes filling up with tears. Second day, not bad. Sat and watched friends eat sushi which would usually be torture. Third day, I fell from grace. Had soup at night. But I am cleansing just not a Master Cleanse paragon. Back to lemonade. My rule has become that anything that you can lick off your finger is legit. Guacamole tasted great on the ninth day of my first cleanse! Yeah, everyone thinks that I am nuts while I feel virtuous. Feel as if my whole life is going to change and all the planets are going to align. Well, one can hope. You are great and I am going to follow you on Twitter, Skitter and any where else?

You should also make sure you are having regular bowel movements as this aids in eliminating toxins in your system - which could make you feel sick.

Lemonade Diet Fasting Debate: The Master Cleanser

The MC should not be undertaken prior to reading the book The Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs AND all of the FAQ's. In some people fasting may promote formation and/or growth of intrahepatic stones and/or gallstones. Flush your liver before and after every fast to prevent possible problems!
