Mr. Crab
I am more fatigued right now than I have ever been in my whole life. It has progressed more and more for maybe the past month or two. It was never a real problem, just a usual symptom every once in a while. I picked up weight training again a month ago and had more energy than I had in a long time. I was able to do it every other day and sometimes 2 days in a row. Then I read about magnesium deficiency, caused by whatever illness I may have, which may be candida, leaky gut, lyme, Epstein Barr, parasites, fatty liver..
I started taking very small doses of Magnesium Oxide, then Magnesium Citrate (as I found out it may be a lot better for me). From the first day I took it, I noticed I was a lot weaker. At night, I was extremely spaced out the whole time.. I might have slept better than I have in a while as I have had insomnia to varying degrees for years, but I did not get the rest I needed and began getting more and more fatigued. I continued taking the Magnesium because I thought it could help me get my bowels moving as I had been constipated and bloated for a long time on the candida diet. It never did help with that. I just got more fatigue. Unfortunately, I kept taking it for just a few more days, not even a week in total, and now I've been barely able to stand or even sit for any reasonable amount of time. I get more of that achy, flu type feeling all over, and very bad brain fog on top of it all.
I was also taking a lot of hemp protein powder which contained a lot of magnesium in the last few days, but I don't think I went much over one gram..
What the hell is this? I've stopped taking any magnesium now, but don't yet feel any improvement. Has no one else experienced this before?
I am pretty sure this is mainly due to the magnesium. I would start getting spaced out and fatigued within minutes after taking it.
The only other supplement addition lately was L-Glutamine for leaky gut.
One last thing, I've been having a lot of muscle twitching on my left tricep. It twitches like crazy multiple times a day.
