Here we go again
Bad habits are hard to break!
Date: 7/24/2006 9:21:57 AM ( 18 y ) ... viewed 3608 times What is it about PMS that makes it so hard to eat like a normal human being? In the week before my period, my hands turn into shovels and my mouth comes unhinged to allow an even greater amount of food to enter my digestive system and wreak havoc on my body and mood. I don't understand it. And since this PMS cycle hit while recovering from a 20-day fast, my stomach is much smaller and I am eating until it actually, literally HURTS. I'm afraid that if I get kicked in the stomach, I'll hemorrhage. Still a vegetarian, though. There is NOTHING about meat that turns me on anymore. Maybe a natural reaction to years of Atkins? Anyway, I've decided that I quit too soon, and I'm going to finish out the 30 days... not 30 days in a row, obviously, but 10 more days. I finished up the last of the antibiotics from my UTI yesterday, so let's go again. Starting today.
I had an 8-ounce glass of grapefruit juice and a 24 oz. bottle of water with green tea extract added for breakfast. Tonight I will have 8 ounces of Naked Blue Machine (LOL... that looks funny in print) and some more green tea extract. Nothing else but water. Grrrr.
Oh, a question... and it might be a little graphic. I've read on this site that you should be "going #2" at least 1-2 times a day while fasting. What, exactly, is being voided??? And HOW is it being voided? There's no fiber or anything to move things along. I used senna tea during the first week or so, just to clear things out, but then no movements for days at a time. Could someone please clear this mystery up for me? I've searched on the web, but can't figure it out. Thanks!
