Day 12
I'm still here! Still going strong.

But I managed to hold my own, and things improved yesterday. Today was just fine. One of my fellow interns (I'm doing a summer internship) left the agency today, so I took him out to lunch to say goodbye. I drank a bottle of water, and felt fine. I realized that it wasn't the food itself that I was craving... it was the flavor. I just want to TASTE everything. Too bad I then EAT everything! The most important thing that I am learning right now is that I won't wither away and die if I don't eat something. It's been 12 days now, and I'm still walking around! So maybe I can take this understanding and learn to moderate. Simply recognizing how little food I actually need is helpful.
Oh, I did add broth to my diet. I don't know if that's "wrong", but it's the clear herbal broth that Vietnamese use to make pho'. It's a lot more satisfying at the end of the day than juice. At least it's a change of flavor. I'm not a huge tea fan (drink it, don't like the flavor of any tea), and the constant sweetness of the juice was starting to gag. Otherwise, so far so good.
