Success is failure turned inside out. ~ Unknown
I found being on Day 6 to be easy. I wonder if it is a bit easier since I have been drinking water with a little bit of lemon it in. I will have to see in my previous blog posts to see if I was struggling with nausea and the such on Day 6. I know that I am only 4 days away from Day 10, which in the past I had to stop. I know that Day 10-12 has been the hardest for me to handle due to very strong detoxification symptoms. I really believe that the healthy eating has really helped my body some. But I am ready if the detox is too strong. I have decided already to juice the following:
Apple
Beet
Celery
Leafy greens
tomato
I plan on taking a couple spoonfuls, to see how it does and go from there. I am ready this time. Ah HA!
I drank a lot of water, more then I think I have before. I drank it because I was really thirsty. I think it is a little bit easier for me as well as I was drinking it with a straw too. Since my wide mouth water bottle is somewhat had to tilt and drink from especially when I am in bed, I started using a straw which is much easier for me.
These are the things I did over the weekend:
I bought Plastic for my windows and put them up ( on Saturday)
I put the plastic up on three windows (my bedroom, and the two in the living room) (Sunday)
I bought a Dryer vent guard and put it in (Bought on Saturday)
I put the Dryer vent guard with flap in (it took me two hours!) (Sunday)
I got my winter sweaters out of my bedroom closet (Sunday)
Did a load of laundry (Sunday)
Straighten my books, sorted my some of my crochet patterns, and other paperwork (Sunday)
I was really tasting/smelling some Acetone on my breath after I stop to rest. It isn't too strong, but I can smell it. It isn't unbearable, as it was on Day 12 of one of my previous fasts. I was really moving around and keeping myself busy. I wasn't feeling very weak, if anything I had tons of energy. Part of me was really trying to keep busy, because more then once, I was wondering what Phil and PJ were doing. My heart does miss them, regardless what Phil might think at times.
I probably will finish a lot from my previous list during the week and on the next week, if I am feeling up to it.
I felt my intestines rumbling and moving about. I wonder when I will start really ill, due to that. I know in the past, I have had to use an enema to expel any nasty-ness causing me to feel ill. I really don't like to do it, but at times it was a last ditch resort, since I was feeling so poorly. I hope that I don't have to do it this time. I just don't like doing it.
I did have a horrible bout of heartburn last night. It is the first time I have ever had it and it was HORRIBLE! I was laying in bed, and I felt like stomach acid was creeping up in my throat. It didn't last long (about 5 or 6 minutes), which I am glad, but it was a little scary. I have had a sour stomach before, but nothing as intense as this. Wow, no wonder Phil gets so grumpy when he gets heartburn. I never realized that it was so horribly painful. I have told him because since I don't have constant pain in my back or have heartburn, I have no idea how he feels more of the time. It isn't that I don't care or I am not concerned. I just don't have the experience in order to full understand at times. It isn't that I am ignorant.
I weighted myself before I went to bed, since I was changing in my pajamas. I was surprised at my weight. I shouldn't have been, but I guess it is because I haven't be focusing on so I forgot that I would be losing it. LOL.
EXERICISE: Walked 1.47 Miles
WATER INTAKE: 80 ounces of water with a little bit of lemon juice added.
WEIGHT: 132 or 131 pounds ( couldn't tell for sure)
