I concur with Fonty.

The body balances its own electrolytes and adding Sea Salt can be dangerous. Any deficiency (which is highly unlikely) is made manifest by certain signs and symptoms towards the end of an extended fast, where hunger would then return. With all due respect, Nurses know very little, if anything, about the fasting process.
