Re: fasting beats any disease? Sure can!

It is so a cure-all!

Anyway, as close to it as you can get. It's just semantics saying that the fast doesn't cure, the body just takes advantage of the conditions we provide it.

Will fasting allow the body to cure or repair any illness or damage done to it? Der, of course not. But there is no drug or natural remedy, no therapy, no healing technique, that will have the same success rate of healing the wide variety of diseases, illnesses and traumas we manage to inflict upon our bodies. There is simply nothing to compare fasting to, nothing that even comes close. So either there is no such thing as a panacea or fasting is it.

Fasting is not for sale, it isn't hurting anyone by it's success apart from those who try to sell stuff that isn't as safe or successful. And people have to come here to get our woefully biased opinions about it. I have no problem calling it a cure-all, or as close to the difinition as we can ever realistically expect to find. I sing it's praises, the last thing I want to do is be anything less than enthusiastic when explaining it's virtues.
