Ok, got it. Nothing I have seen before, it does not match the typical features of a parasite (let me know if you want details). Parasites would take some time to mature, so try to fit the timeframe from ingestion to release. Bacteria, fungal/yeast and of course parasites can cause the inflammation you are having. Hard to say what that is - the fact the samples consistently look the same is meaningful - one key to idenitfying a parasite (if it is one), is finding eggs or ”ova” - they can be tiny or not. anything floating that is oval or round worth getting - there should be lots of them. If I took a guess, it looks like a Ascaris lumbricoides or large round worm - males are thinner than females which are pencil diameter thick - I think its too thin even for male, and it is really long for that... look up photos and see if similar - compare egg/ova pics to what you find.   [End]

I read some people with UC needed to do it over several months, almost every day or every second day, to allow colon to be healed completely and to allow microbiota to fully recover . I have IBS for 50 years and have considerable malaise. I decided to investigate - could this ’mucus’ be a ’slime mould’. Answer? Well - depends how loose your terminology is. You didn’t right did u take rifaximin and metronidazole simultaneously or several days rifaximin and after finish started metronidzole for several days. How many days did u take first and second? The dosage of 1200mg of Rifaximin per day was suggested by doctor? Thanks for your reply. Could you explain how it causes the bad odours and sweating? I am inclined to think it is something with my gut flora as this issue started around the time that I had a bout of diarrhoea. I noticed the smell coming from my skin, particularly chest and anus. I have also been taking probiotics however it doesnt always work although sometimes I felt it improved it, I was not certain though. An update : The faecal smell is less often, but this is due to not being at work this week (and sitting down for long periods) However, whilst on vacation, in instances of stress and anxiety, I would emit a ’vomit’ like smell kind of like sour milk. I do not know if this is linked to the faecal smell. It is particularly strong at times where I feel stressed, hot etc I also noticed spots around my back and a few on my legs around the time this faecal smell started - could this be linked? The burning sensation is from the anus. It becomes more intense after a few hours of sitting. It sometimes smells of ’sick/vomit’ (much less often) but mostly faecal smell. I am really unsure what it could be - when checking symptoms of anal fissure, it says bleeding, itching and malodorous discharge. There is no bleeding present. I do not know if there is any discharge present as when I wipe to check there doesn’t seem to be anything and underwear is clean.   [End]

My diet has not changed. I checked that one symptom of anal fissure is bleeding, which I have not experienced. However I have had hemorrhoids every so often since having a bout of diarrhoea. I remember having a similar (faecal smell) occurrence a few years ago, after having diarrhoea. I had taken antibiotics (Clarithromycin) for 4 days and noticed no smell for several day,but after the several days it came back unfortunately. After regularly reading the curezone forums to cure my body odor, without success, I have decided to post my own situation, and see if someone can help me as this has taken a toll on my life.
