What you are presenting clearly looks to be the segments of a proglotoid, or tapeworm, my guess is that it is the cestode known as echinoccocous granulosus, and my hypothesis is that the spots showing up are hydatid cysts, but also it appears you might have liver flukes as well. This is only a theory, but it might be possible that the cysts were protecting you from the the shigas toxin, and as you are killing off this tapeworm, and possibly the cysts, the toxin is being released into your body.
