Hello I have been suffering from hemorrhoids for over 30 years now due to constipation and straining. I think I now have grade 3 thrombosed hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very often triggered by food intolerance. Very often, it is intolerance to wheat, cheese and milk. You would have to avoid your trigger foods for at least 7 days or longer to allow hemorrhoid to heal and return to normal. Just because wheat, cheese and milk are common triggers, it dos not mean they are your triggers . In your case, it may be intolerance to something else like spices, or nuts, or fish or whatever else. Hi White Shark! I haven’t considered those no! I would definitely look into the fecal transplant though, perhaps my gut microbiome is abnormal. I would probably look into the liver flush afterwards, my reasoning being that many people with FBO seem to have found the odor to be systemic, some saying it comes from their pores even, maybe meaning that their liver is not functioning correctly to expel toxins. Hello, I am having the same problem with fbo, same smell and symptoms. My started after I had a bleeding hemorrhoids and was rushed to the hospital. They stitch my hemorrhoids to prevent excessive loss of blood. Then that’s when my fbo became strong. I didn’t know what was going on. Other people will smell it before I did, how embarrassing. An update : The faecal smell is less often, but this is due to not being at work this week (and sitting down for long periods) However, whilst on vacation, in instances of stress and anxiety, I would emit a ’vomit’ like smell kind of like sour milk. The burning sensation is from the anus. It becomes more intense after a few hours of sitting. It sometimes smells of ’sick/vomit’ (much less often) but mostly faecal smell.
