hmmm,

i didn't see where it says 'occasionally', only that those foods are 'neutral' as opposed to being 'beneficial' or 'avoid'. i think its mostly that eating more of those foods will make it harder to lose weight, if that's why someone is doing the Blood Type Diet .

ya know, honestly i'm not much of a breads, cereal, sweets & pasta eater (don't get me wrong, i LOVE bread and pasta - two of my former staples), but through following the type o protocol, i've found i'm really sensitive to wheat products. for one thing, if i eat that kind of food in the morning, that's all i crave all day long, and my desire for healthy things like veggies goes out the window!

also, i wake up the next day with puffiness in my face, more mucous, more moody, and often, after eating that kind of food i get wicked heartburn (not the next day, more like an hour after i would eat a normal portion of pasta, or wheat bread).

i really do well with brown rice, quinoa and beans.
