hi noflush!

i love raw nuts & seeds (good fats & protein) i always have a tub of cut up veggies & some hummous handy. i stir flax oil into the hummous for extra goodness, try it with lemon & cayenne too! if you're lucky your local natural store carries low-temperature-ground nut/seed butters. the brand i know is rejuvanitive foods. the thing with the low temp grinding is that the final product is still raw! i try to eat as much raw as possible. oh yeah, also try spouted beans, nuts, seeds if you can find them. enzymes enzymes!when not possible i go for whole grains & beans.

i do love the soy products, but have cut way back, since they are so processed. the one i'll occasionally munch is organic tamari roasted soynuts from sunridge farms, great snack. but i'll probably be cutting them out completely especially after reading the soy chapter on www.thedoctorwithin website - eek!).
