Re: what carbs do you consume? (O type)
hi all,
i just found this forum and popped on, being a type "o".
i've used this diet extensively for the last few years. when i stick to the guidelines of what to eat and what to avoid i feel great (especially as far as the carbs are concerned - other parts of it i don't follow exactly - especially being vegan :} ).
i've got the book in my lap. go to your local natural foods store to find these products! enjoy!
here's the list:
beneficial breads: ezekiel bread - which is like a normal sandwich bread & essene bread - which is sprouted, unleavened, and baked at very low temps, its very sweet, and very moist, not really like what we think of as "bread", but its dee-lish!
neutral breads: brown rice bread, millet bread, fin crisp (crackers made from rye - yummy) gluten free bread, ideal flat bread (??), millet (a whole grain, its kind of sweet), rice cakes, 100% rye bread (usually small square loaves, very thinly sliced), rye crisps, rye vita, soy flour bread (not into that one), spelt bread, wasa (crispy rye breads).
neutral grains: barley, buckwheat/kasha, artichoke pasta, quinoa (highest in protein of all grains), brown & white rice, wild rice.
