Longer flush as far as preparation?? What you have just done is perfect. If it were me, I would break my fast with a good clean diet, then as soon as my digestion was back on line I would flush.

I believe I was able to release the Big One as quickly as I did (after 5-6 flushes at 2 week intervals) because of all the colon cleansing and juice fasting I had done in advance. You should be in the same boat.

My flush would look like this:

3 days prior, eat a very low fat, clean diet (you are doing this on a break anyhow). The day of the flush, eat a low fat breakfast (oatmeal is a nice choice). Have a low fat lunch, then eat nothing after 2:30pm. If you have to eat something, make it a Granny Smith apple. I like to whiz it in the blender to make a fresh apple sauce, with a little cinnamon on top.

At bedtime, I combine 1/2 cup Hain cold pressed walnut oil (I prefer the flavor to olive, and have done great flushes with it) with the juice of a lemon plus fresh OJ to make 1/2 cup (this is my personal preference, again for flavor, and again I have done great flushes). Shake very well to combine, chug it down and immediately lie on right side. Stay in this position for at least an hour.

Occasionally I will become nauseated during a flush. In fact, I would have to say I have become nauseated in conjunction with my BEST flushes. After an hour you can do anything you like, even throw up, without compromising your flush, which has already taken place.

The nausea, or reflux, is the reason I prefer the walnut/OJ combination. I love Extra-Virgin Olive-Oil on a salad, but frankly it isn't my preference the second time around! I am not a big fan of grapefruit juice, which is what most flushes call for. A milder flavored mix works better for me.

The next morning, I like to drink a full quart of water with the juice of a lemon to help flush the gunk through my intestines. I eat light all day. That afternoon I generally pass very interesting things... Two weeks later I repeat the procedure.

Flushing is NOT complicated, and once you've done a couple you're an expert. If you are having gallbladder pain this should relieve it immediately. Again, there is excellent support and info here at curezone on the Liver Flush Support Forum .

Be well,
Somer
