Re: End of day 6 Water Fast: feeling very tired
You can always ask yourself what exactly a 'professional' is. I'd rather trust you than some M.D. that hasn't missed a meal in his life. Besides, isn't knowledge the result of experimenting with things and learning from the outcome? Usually, the knowledge a 'professional' possesses, is second hand. (That's just my uneducated opinion though ;-) )
Okay, the
Iodine is going on my skin then (so how does that work? You put it on your palm and rub it in?)
And I'm quitting the multivitamins. I guess I was just afraid I was going to get deprived of things but what Naturalist said makes sense.
Well, day 7 today and I slept like a brick. (Luckily it was my day off :) ) One stupid question though: during my fasts, I always have these dreams about food. I dream that I'm home and that my family somehow convinces me to eat their dish and that I later freak out because I just ruined all the benefits of my fast. The funny thing is, when I wake up, I could've sworn I ate that food, it just seemed so real. When I finally realize I haven't I'm happy ofcourse ;)
Also, anyone else notice your teeth become really white? I've never had the megawatt smile, but I'm guessing that I might get one if it goes on like this.
And I'm keeping an eye on the "bitter taste in your mouth" thing.
I'm treating myself today. Instead of going to some fancy restaurant, I'm going to the movies to see the Bourne Ultimatum. OT: anyone who hasn't seen the Bourne movies: they're to be recommended. This is Bond without the gadget shit, and a lot more intelligence.
Thanks for your input: it's appreciated!
[EDIT!!!] Okay I REALLY need your help here: I just received an e-mail from my teacher, who says he's coming over to London on August 23rd! (This job is my internship) and to give you a picture of the guy: he's this big person who loves his food in big quantities. And he just said he'd take me out for dinner because I had to pay for my own food all these months. Breaking a fast properly takes at least a week and I'm not planning to throw my hard work away because he's coming over for 1 single day! Does anyone have a smart idea to tackle this problem? PLEASE PLEASE reply! *jumps around like a frantic teenager*
