Re: cavernous liver hemangioma

Hey Canadian Girl,

I am not aware of having any hormonal imbalance. My hemangioma was growing so rapidly that I don't think that anything I took would have helped it to shrink. Both my surgeon and I were amazed that it had grown more than 5 cm in six weeks. He was more amazed than I was because I saw a dramatic change in my overall health. Everything I had read about them said that they were slow growing. I wondered if it was age for me. Although I am sure it grew during both my pregnancies I thought perhaps I was starting menopause and that may have been why it was growing at such an alarming rate. I've not seen any other menopausal signs though.
Keep posting....I am curious as to what you will find. As you can see I posted on this site a few weeks after I found out I had this. I wanted to get a response so bad and you were the first person that had posted and it was AFTER my surgery. I wanted to talk to some one who had the surgery and lived through it.
Good Luck and let me hear from you.
