Re: cavernous liver hemangioma
Hi!
I too was recently diagnoised with a cavernous liver hemangioma, 3.5cm, in my right lobe. I just found this site and have been reading your messages.
I am a 43 yr old female, I have been on hormone replacement therapy for 10 years; I have no idea how long this has been growing within me. The Radiology Dr told me that it was a birth defect and that I was probably born with it. I have done research and I believe that he was lying to me, probably just to get me out of the office (the CT scan was done on Friday @ 4:00pm, I'm sure the weekend was already calling him). I have not spoken to my regular Dr yet as to what is going on or what she is going to recommend.
I originally went to the Dr because of nausea, vomiting, dizziness, lethargic and constipation. My Dr sent me for an ultrasound and that is when the mass was found. I went that afternoon for the CT scan.
Has anyone else experienced those symptoms with this problem?
I look forward to your responses...thank you!
