Re: cavernous liver hemangioma

My post is in part a reply to Neens and other part, a question unto itself.

In reply to Neens: My chiropractor suggested natural progesterone when I told him I had intrauterine fibroids giving me discomfort. Sounds like cavernous liver hemangioma is a "fibroid" of the liver. He also sited high estrogen levels associated with fibroids and told me that even if I had a UFE (uterine fibroid embolization) rather than hysterectomy to take this so that the fibroids would not return.

My new question however is: I've been taking Chasteberry (tradename: Vitex) which was recommended to me by a friend when I as seeking natural alternatives to a hysterectomy. It's suppose to regulate hormones as well as provide other benefits to women's health. Does chasteberry replace natural progesterone or is there any danger in taking both at the same time? Does anyone out there know the answer to this?
