Carbohydrates?
I'm watching this forum with interest, but haven't applied the full protocol, at least not yet, though I'm trying to eat a generally alkalizing diet, and drinking "alkaline water" I've been getting at the health food store along with something called "super PH minerals" from fulvic acid.
I looked at your list of foods on your current diet - sounds very low carb, I would feel the same way if I cut out all fruit and grains. In fact, that's exactly how I felt when I was on a "candida diet." I eat fruits and grains judiciously - mainly just whole grains in small amounts (no wheat), soaked for at least 8 hours in acidulated water. This summer I've been having berries and a few peaches. I try not to combine carbs & protein, and I find that my blood sugar is much more stable and I can go longer between meals when I have a fair amount of healthy fats - olive oil, good cod liver oil, flax oil, coconut oil. Especially when fat and protein are combined. I still have a problem with chronic infection, which I think is a mix of protozoa/candida/bacteria...it's long term and deeply imbedded, I think, so obviously I have more work to do. Personally, I honestly don't believe that there's any ONE protocol that's right for everyone. I have done about 12 liver flushes which helped a lot, parasite and bowel cleansing, etc. I have tried to do some things that perhaps more robust people with strong constitutions can push through with great results, but totally flattened me. I'm a lot more delicate and have found I have to go slowly and realy listen to my body. Probably not the advice you will get from Moreless or other followers of this forum, but if I were you, I'd slow down and consider adding some fruits and easier tp digest ancient grains like quinoa, millet, teff, or buckwheat. Or a little brown rice, soaked in water with a little apple cider vinegar at least overnight. Or some higher carb veggies like potatoes or butternut squash. Just eat them separate from your protein for better digestion. That's my 2 cents, anyway.
