Re: --Answer--New start--Blood Sugar Crazy...Help!
I plan on buying a Refractometer. Seems very important. I will search previous posts for answers as to which is the best to buy...
Your explanation is very thorough and it makes sense. I felt that perhaps folks with faulty blood sugar metabolism might have some sort of reaction to such a dramatic change in diet. Going from stuffing my face with protein all day long to eating much lighter, more nutrient dense foods would affect most folks...
It most likely will take time to heal. I would love to be well tomorrow, but I've been feeling horrible since I got off of antibiotics in early 2000, and I know that much damage has been done in that time, and it will take time to come back into balance.
Interesting you should mention that I might consider eating every few hours - because that is what I've found myself doing since the bad colonic reaction. If I didn't eat, I would totally shut down. BUT in the last week, since I began your protocol, I haven't been eating every few hours. I haven't felt shakey/jittery. That is a good sign, huh? I didn't put two and two together until now! I have been spacey, but only a bit more than I used to, and that could be due to not eating frequently enough and the general dietary changes that my system is becoming acclamated with.
Thanks for the help and the reminder. It's hard to keep everything in perspective - especially when you're not healthy...
So, I will try to eat more high quality veggies and more often to keep the blood sugar stable...
