Re: Hello 70139.

Here goes another suggestion. When skin becomes dry it is your body’s natural response to send oil to the skin and in turn may cause break outs. Sometimes keeping the skin well moisturized is helpful. Grapeseed Oil and Shea Butter are both great natural moisturizers for people with Acne prone skin.

Grape Seed Oil (not grapefruit seed extract) is high in Vitamin A and other vitamins and nutrients. It’s easily absorbed by the skin and is light moisturizer. You can usually find Organic Grape Seed oil in your local supermarket

Shea Butter is high in Vitamin A and other nutrients. It aids in healing small skin wounds, acne, dry skin, scars, skin rashes, bruises, eczema and dermatitis. It’s non-greasy unless you use more than can be absorbed by the skin so use very little for a light moisturizer and more for a heavy moisturizer.

You might want to add a drop or two of essential oils for their benefits. Organic therapeutic grade essential oils are best as lesser grades have less to none of the desired beneficial biochemicals. Always test a little of the oils on the underside of your arm before using essential oils just to be sure you do not have any adverse reaction to them. These are a few essential oils known to help Acne and scarring.

Acne: Lavender, Lemongrass, Palmarosa, Rosewood, Peppermint or Tea Tree

Scarring: Frankincense, Rosewood or Palmarosa. Palmarosa is also known for its cellular regeneration benefits.

I hope this is helpful
