Re: Some more life experience

It is very difficult for born Americans to accept this older women, younger men bit because they make a big deal about it on tv.
Even 27 years ago, my mother and brother came over for our wedding and Phil Donahue had an whole week of programs about it on tv and my family could not understand what the big deal was. Actually they thought it was weird.

After we got married some other people at the singles group started dating, because they saw us and realized it was no big deal.
The interesting thing is that it often bothers the woman more than the man. That is not good you have to be able to laugh about it.

My husband even looks young for his age so when he was 30 he even got carted. One day when we had our house on the market an broker came to the door and asked if his mother was home.
He, the kids and I went to a country western club one day and I was the only one who did not get carted :) Luckily it does not bother me, it is important to be secure in the relationship.

Then there are the friends of the men that wonder why he is doing it, but several have gotten divorced but we are still happy.
So indeed it takes some maturety of the couple.

Don't you like it, it opens up an whole new group of people :)
