Re: How can you believe in AA if you don't believe in God.
One has to come to first.
A.A.does not ask anyone to believe in anything. The sponsorship system does.
The Wisdom is needed to know the difference
The (S.S) sponsorship system,. says we Came to believe “ in” a Power greater than ourselves.. The S.S. tells others it’s “in” sponsorship “in” having a sponsor.
(A..A.) Alcoholics Anonymous says we Came to believe “that” a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity and “that “one is God May you find him now, May the spirit of the Fellowship be always with you. ( the altruism of A.A’s brotherhood ).
A.A’s simple suggested program turned into a program of suggestions by the S.S.
No wonder why the recovery is where its at the past 25 years.
Join the Fellowship and dump the follow-ship
No one just believes over time they come to believe because its way through life without all the screaming kicking and yelling. Take it piece meal don't choke on it.
Either be governed by God or ruled by tyrants, it will always will be your choice
God’s world speaks through the heart - if one can hear
Mans world speaks through the mind – If you don’t mind.
The heart shows the essentials in A.A. that are blind to the eyes.
The hardest part about finding God is that he’s not lost WE are.
A substitution for faith is a sponsor maybe try that until one can come to believe
A.A. is clear “Follow the dictates of a Higher Power and you will presently live in a new and wonderful world, no matter what your present circumstances!”
A simple path for complicated people
