As an aside...(sort of off topic)
The original thread was cross-posted into the Abuse Forum and I was compelled to respond. I'm not an AA member, but I've had decades of association with AA, Alanon, and Alateen. Though some will vehemently disagree, I feel that AA has saved countless lives and families, and I hope that I haven't offended anyone by responding.
