It is of course the insurance companies that insure the hospital and the doctors E&O
when babies get hurt suits are enormous and most often won...this may be the net of it

second thought, I know when I have had sutures the scar tissue is hard and not likely to rupture at the point of incision and suturing

I would still contact both sides

And another thought, Support Forums do not mean there cannot be another way, particularly if there is a safety issue involved to look at something. I suppose it used to...but the real need is for civility not always agreement.

Educating instead of medicating is the mission statement of CZ. Education means just that, examining all sides and coming up with the best answer for you.

If you want VBAC and feel that there is no other answer than you will do it, period. If you are questioning - I would question the professionals involved.

Go ask at the midwife site- they believe in natural everything I think that includes VBAC, if they feel that it is not a good idea-I would ask them why?

If they support your home birth, I'd ask them why?

Why? I'd listen to the answers and decide for myself

Which you will do in the end regardless of this post, and should do just that
