Re: Be careful of advice on circumventing the hospital or
I studied to be a doula and I know many midwives, I am refering to her C-section issue. This may be outdated info that they try and force another C-section on the mother.
I do remember that women that had one C-section often delivered all children that way- but I do believe that is not the case in this day and age.
My advice would be to get rid of your Doctor and find another who will support you if you believe it may be his predijuice that is the problem.
In fact talk to 3 of them. If all of them agree that you are at risk of another C-section then I would think long and hard about my choices.
I would also contact 2 midwives- these are very credible women who represent the "fineist of womanhood" -in most cases.
Go here and ask your question and see what they have to offer:

- This is an association of licensed midwives.
I am not unsupportive at all, I just think you have the absolute wrong doctor for you, and you are basing your decision on fear rather than educating your self to your real situation
I'd hate to see you have a life threatening problem with your next child based on the information you have gleaned so far and the support of a forum.
I care
I'd like to see you do both sides of the homework and fine the care you need for the next birth
