Wikipedia can be useful, but it is NOT a reliable source, so it's really not good to "quote" Wikipedia. If there is something you've never heard of, for example, a music group, or a weird vegetable, or an african religion, you could look it up on wikipedia to learn, quickly, what it is. But you shouldn't rely on that information as accurate. If you're at all interested in that topic, you will then move on to do research at more reliable websites.
