Re: 35289

I'd have to agree with most assessments of Clark, ive not heard very good things.
Though truth be told Im not a big fan of Wiel either, especially his anti-liver flush stance.

Persoanlly, you have to expect alternative practitioners trained in nutrition (or those espousing nutritive philosophies) to be...how can I put this without sounding offensive...a better weight? To me, they should be cautious enough to understand physiological equilibrium and the damaging effects of being overweight or eating too many calories (even from 'good' sources) and he is rather large. This is something I wouldnt expect from mainstream Drs, however, who get about 1 hour training on nutrition and diet throughout their course.

I hope I havent come across as offensive! Its just something Ive considered, the Western genetic trait is not towards obesity (unlike some S. American tribes) and I think with nutrition (especially a vaunted position) it should be practice what you preach. I guess I would have to meet him to decide whether my assessment was wrong.

I do like Mercola, although his website is a pain.
