I have been on the Iodine Support forum, mainly reading, for a month and a half, and I remember being annoyed by the fear-spreading tone in your first posts. I felt very grateful for Uny's reply to you giving you the benefit of the doubt, very loving, very thoughtful (I can't find any of those posts now!) and I was at a loss by your dismissal.
Anyway, I can't see where you come from, you never sound like someone genuinely looking for support or willing to give it.
Here, from your post above:

Many people on this forum seem to think that if a little Iodine is good a lot is better. I think that is a dangerous mentality. Now, if it's working, what can I say? But, I'm wondering whether it is NOT working for them, with the rampant anger and paranoia which they may be creating.

Why this?? You are perverting thoughts. To me, this "dangerous mentality" thing is way too serious a statement and not innocent at all.
