Re: enough with the overdosing
I have not read all of 23rd Psalms posts, however, based upon the ones I have read I do not think that 23rd Psalm is being a devils advocate at all... he/she has already stated that they have been exploring and
Iodine supplementing for 2 months before running across these forums. That is easily as long as most others on this forum, except maybe for those of us that have been\are avid seaweed eaters. In fact 23rd Psalm is asking many of the same questions we did when the only forum for us was
Debate Forums .
23rd Psalm is obviously a thinker... and I would think a valuable asset to any forum, especially this one.
I have to agree with you and 23rd Psalm that one can overdose on ANYTHING and that
Iodine OD is a definitive possibility. How much is too much? For someone that shows an "allergic" type of reaction to
Iodine maybe less than 1 drop! maybe the mere taste of kelp or even fish. It could just be a toxic shock caused by a severe depletion. Again, we are all different.
Having many noobies over the years questioning, doubting and looking for answers to questions that those of us who have been here hashed out months ago, in a world that has been inundated with idiophobia for over 50 years is to be expected in this forum, over and over again. I think that we should be here to help, and encourage not only the questions, but the answers to them... if we have them. Their health and the health of their loved ones may be at stake.
We should be here to share knowledge... if the knowledge becomes an issue for debate, the discussion should, at that time, be moved to the iodine debate forum. Lets learn from each other as we walk this road together.
