Dunno how much clearer than the "logic" I gave and that from the FAQs can be. Are you waiting for someone to tell you that you can die from it? ;+D

Just to elaborate a bit more. The main working mode of the MC is to give the digestive system a rest and when you are pouring all that fiber into the system it will keep things pretty active and cranking up the peritaltic action in your GI tract and all the energy it will take just to push all the fiber out. All the energy used to deal with the fiber works at odds with the MCs main working mode of giving the digestive system a rest. Even with the 1hr rule thing the lemonade is ALL the nutrition you are taking in and it being all liqid form a good portion of it is still going to get absorbed by the B&Ps, again diminishing what little nutrition you are getting plus also diminishing the cleansing action of the lemon and cayenne. This ain't rocket science. Just plain ole "common sense". As I explanied before when you add the BPs the MC it is no longer the MC but a colon cleanse.

I've been around for 5 years and the whole UC whoopteedoo was all from a single poster namely Tracey who's post you refered too as you not being the only one. She was a prolific poster and the whole thing was all about her "enthusiasm" and not backed by any of the sound reasoning that I gave you. She meant well but other than "experimenting" there was not real well thought out logic behind the enthusiasm. BTW It was more close to 5 years ago than 3 years when all business with the UC was going on.

I was a noobee myself back when but I just wasn't taken in by her prolific posting. I did give it a try on about my 3rd MC just to see what all the hoopla was about and just simply did no care for it just on the fact alone that it ruined the nice light empty feeling I came to enjoy from the MC as written. In addition it plugged me up so that was the end of that. FYI I have been regular my entire life so it wasn't an issue that I had any existing problems with regularity. I have done the BPs while eating regular also and again  it made me feel bloated and I just don't have the dicipline to be timing the BPs one hr before and after taking nutrition so I've never lasted more that 2 weeks at a time. I have since switched and I'm quite pleased with Oxypowder for colon cleansing.

Since the begining of my journey 5 years ago I have done 7 MCs with 5 being in the 40 day range.
