I have a hippocrates and it's slow. If I want to make 6 glasses of juice for the day, it would take me all morning...well, not really, but it feels like it. It's too slow to make quantities of juice, probably similar to the one you have as far as speed goes.

I also have a champion which is much faster, but of course the juice has lost some things because of this. Mornings that I have very little time, I just use the champion and can make 1 quart very quickly. Mornings that I'm not as rushed, I use both juicers....put things like cabbage, celery, cauliflower, beets in the hippocrates, and carrot/apple in the champion, and then mix all together and pour into individual glasses to take with me. The hippocrates is quicker with cabbage and greens, but I don't even bother with carrots in it, it will take forever.
