Re: My husband is gambeling

As you've read, only your husband can make the decision to stop. No threat will force him to take the steps to address his addiction: NO THREAT WILL FORCE HIM. If I were in your situation, I would get as much information as I could about gambling addiction, get involved in a support group, and get myself employed, ASAP. I would put away every penny that I earned into a separate account (secret, if need be), and I would begin considering every option available to me.

If a relationship is based upon deceit, dishonesty, disrespect, with no common goals, there IS no relationship. Can you mend the damage to your relationship? Perhaps, if your husband is willing to get help for himself. But, I must caution you against contacting his supervisors in a fit of anger or rage! Following through with any action that is based upon vengence will serve no purpose, whatsoever.
