Re: Curlyzone

>Has your itching gone away completely? Is your skin discolored yet clearing of the patches? What do your eczema areas look like?

The itching seemed to have gone until last week. Last week I ate a few bars of chocolate, and a few servings of desserts. Desserts seems to put me back in my progress. Actually I had one patch almost completely healed until I ate those desserts. Now a small part of that (previously very large) patch became itchy and red.

My skin is still discolored. Some parts have healed, but most parts haven't. I have a large patch on my leg that hasn't healed yet. Currently it is reddish brown in color. There is no scaling. The skin seems to be soft. It starts itching only when I eat something that triggers it. Desserts (actually, anything with Sugar in it) are my worst enemy. I don't have desserts often, but when I do my skin itches like crazy. I am suspecting that bread might be a trigger too, although I only eat whole wheat bread.

>It's ironic that you mentioned teas. Right now, the only tea I am currently incoporating in my diet is Alvita dandelion root(roasted)tea.

I have heard that dandelion tea is a great cleansing tea. It is supposed to help the liver a lot. I tried it a few times. I may try that again in the near future. American saffron (safflower), mullein, and german chamomile are both soothing and cleaning. I currently have german chamomile and mullein, I havent ordered safflower yet.

>I've also been trying to find out information about oolong tea which I heard is really good for eczema healing. I may add more teas but for the time being, just this one and possibly oolong.

I've looked at the link that you gave me, thanks! I also searched on the web and there are websites that mention oolong for eczema. Right know I do not intend to drink it due to caffeine content. Caffeine is supposed to be a trigger. I do not know if it is a trigger for me, but I cannot take any chances. I am caffeine free for almost 3 months!

>Aside from the tea, I just purchased Natrol Grape Seed Extract and am still taking flaxseed oil daily, fiberblend cleanse, the whole 9 yards with fruits and vegetables, water, etc.

Those are great that you are doing. Grape seed extract is a great addition to your plan. I used it, and will continue using it.

Meanwhile, I learned about NAC (an antioxidant): http://www.naturalpharmacy.com/evidence/N-Acetyl-Cysteine-Allergies

It seems to be a great antioxidant, but I do not think that I will order it soon, since I am planning to order Grape Seed Extract as my antioxidant supplement.

I am going to take fish oil (Carlson's) a few times per week. I am not planning on taking flax seed oil, since I occasionally eat flax seeds mixed with yogurt.

Bowel cleanse (via the fiber cleanse that you mentioned) will probably help you a lot.

I think that a candida cleanse might help us too. I eat lots of raw garlic daily (at least a clove a day, sometimes upto 5 cloves). I am hoping that it will help me avoid a candida issue. I also eat yogurt, and drink kefir daily. I am not sure if I might have candida problems. Grapefruit seed extract is a stronly recommended supplement for candida. Also the oil of oregano is supposed to be nature's strongest antifungal, and recommended for candida. I already have lots of oil of oregano, so maybe I should give it a try internally. I have tried it a few times internally, but never became regular.

I guess that parasite cleanse may help us too, (like Colonix, or Blessed Herbs). I am kind of hessitant to do it though. It costs a LOT, and therefore not in my immediate plan.

Lastly, I want to mention Dr Mercola's website (www.mercola.com). There are lots of info about lots of stuff. I started visiting the website daily. You can get his free weekly newsletter too.
