Re: Curlyzone

Here are my answers:
>I feel a slight itchiness or tingly feeling right after coming out of the shower before moisturizing. Do you experience this too?

Yes this happens to me when I start patting my skin dry after coming out of shower. At those times I reach for my oil of oregano and apply it to the itchy areas. I apply vitamin E oil to those few areas that are not itchy.

>Does your skin feel really warm when you moisturize or touch it? Do you tend to
break out elsewhere even when you don't scratch? This happens also.

Yes my skin becomes very hot when it is breaking out. It becomes hot, red, and itchy. And even if I may not scratch I break out..

>Does your skin hurt in any particular area where you have a patch?
Yes. funny that you ask this.. I have a new breakout that I got 10 days ago. It is half the size of my palm. The area was so red, itchy, and at the same time the tissue beneath the skin was so hard and tense. That part of my leg felt as if the tissue beneath the skin had inflamed and hardened. There was a little pain too, when I touch it and feel it.

>Do you do any type exercise? I used to quite a bit but have slowed down - I guess for fear of this spreading b/c of excess sweat and all.

I started exercising last spring. I started walking/running 45 minutes everyday. I followed this until October, that is until the winter arrived here :) I did not go to gym, I ran at my local park. It is important that the troubled skin is exposed to sunlight. I will start walking/running when March/April arrives.

>Aside from that, I just moisturize several times throughout the day. Sometimes when the sun literally goes down, I experience severe dryness in the creases behind my legs. Otherwise, I'm ok. As we speak, I can see slight traces of my skin peaking through from the areas that were hardened and covered for so long. I'm grateful my itching has subsided which can't be said for most that suffer from this too.

I moisturize many times during the day too. It helps me a lot. I experience dryness at nights too. When I am at home, I wear shorts so that my troubled skin on legs does not come into contact with any fabric. I wear shorts and then moisturize again and again, that's the most comfortable thing for me.

>I keep my showers regulated to lukewarm to semi-cool water and under 10 minutes.

Yes I had read somewhere that showers should be kept under 10 minutes. It is great that you are doing it.
