Re: Curlyzone/Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is very new to me. Bought it for the first time last week. I bought it from my local health food store. There were two brands there, Nutiva and Spectrum Naturals. I bought Spectrum Naturals (the cheaper one) to try.

A while ago I had come across an article at mercola com. It favors the Tropical Traditions brand. Here are the links for you to read why:

Also I saw in the coconut oil forum that many people really like the Tropical Traditions and the Nutiva brand. Nutiva brand can be found in the local health food store. But I guess Tropical Traditions brand would have to be ordered online.

I used coconut oil on my skin only once so far (last week), and so I do not have much results to report for now. Since last week I used it for cooking a couple of times and I really like the taste, so I will continue using it.
